Responsibilities

  • Implement annual HSE plans and other HSE programs with consultation from HSSEAdvisors and Lead HSSEIA. Monitor and follow up HSE open issues.
  • Advise OIMs, CSRs and offshore Supervisors on the implementation of HSE related procedures, guidelines, etc.
  • Establish and maintain HSE library to reference materials, standards, codes. within HSE scope on board offshore platform/ MOPU.
  • Assist OIMs, CSRs and offshore Supervisors to conduct investigation in significant accident / incident and to prepare/ review the reports. Follow up on incident action items based on the investigation report for Cendor / West Desaru Operations.
  • Collect data, compile, and provide routine reporting but not limited to Daily HSSE report, Weekly HSSE report, Daily HI report, Monthly Hi report, PTW assessment/audit report, ER drill reports, SSI report, CoW assessment report, etc.
  • Assist the OIM to conduct offshore HSE committee meeting and to be the secretary of the meeting.
  • Conduct HSE inspection, audit or assessment and monitor the implementation of there commendations.
  • Assist the OIMs, CSRs and offshore Supervisors to monitor offshore activities and provide HSE input as necessary.
  • Respond to HSE queries by providing accurate information and sound advice with consultation from Cendor / West Desaru HSSE Advisor/leads and PM304 Lead HSSEIA.
  • Coordinate the execution and improvement of operational controls (procedures, work instruction, SOP and standards).
  • Maintain HSE auditing expertise and ensure execution of the routine assessment / audit internal assessment / audit programs on board offshore installations as part of safety assurance.
  • Conduct presentation on the HSE Policy/ job impact/ HSE Awareness/ HSE requirements/operational controls to offshore and contractors.
  • Assist the OIMs, CSRs and offshore Supervisors to coordinate the executions of Operational Risk Assessment (ORA) and management of Change (MoC).

Requirement

  • More than 5-year experience in an HSSE field.
  • Experience in offshore and onshore location HSSE support.
  • Preferably hold a Diploma in Safety and Health or professional certificate of Safety andHealth or its equivalent.
  • Possess good skills in Microsoft Office software and incident database.
  • Experience in performing incident investigation and use of different methodologies.
  • Hold valid Offshore Medical and BOSIET certificates.
