Drilling Engineer

This position reports to the Head of Drilling Engineering and requires the ability to perform duties independently with minimal support.

• 10 - 15 years in said position with major O&G operator having sufficient offshore experience.
• Understanding and have working experience on Slim-hole Mono-bore Well Design projects
• Executed projects independently from conceptual to the final design and until abandonment stage
• Possess problem solving skills and able to recommend solutions with proper engineering support
• Fluent in English and have good communication skills
• Intermediate to Advanced level in Drilling Engineering software such as StressCheck, Casing Design, Well Plan, WellCat, etc
• Able to gather and analyse data and have knowledge of data visualization tools

• Strong commitment to HSSE,
• Sound drilling engineering background and understanding of overall well delivery process,
• Responsible and accountable for engineering activities covering the designing, planning, procurement, program preparation and execution of drilling and workover operations for new and existing exploration and development wells within the Company,
• Deliver safe, sound and fit-for purpose engineering design, timely prepare well costs, AFEs, detailed programs and provide operational support during actual drilling operations,
• Working with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring drilling programs, program amendments and dispensations to policy are prepared on schedule, are adequately risk assessed and successfully implemented in line with Companys Policies and Objectives,
• Additionally, handle major drilling related contracts from tender preparation, technical & commercial evaluation, execution until closeout stage.
