Position : Senior Operations Engineer

Scope of Work:

• Lead and support day-to-day production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance of offshore facilities.
• Provide technical expertise in operations and maintenance, troubleshooting process issues, and optimizing production output.
• Develop and implement operating procedures, maintenance plans, and improvement initiatives in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including maintenance, integrity, and HSE to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Monitor production performance, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions to improve plant reliability and uptime.
• Support turnaround, shutdown, and start-up activities by providing technical input and ensuring smooth execution.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and offshore personnel to build operational capability.
• Prepare and review operational reports, ensuring timely submission to management and regulatory bodies.

Requirement(s):

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas production operations, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong technical knowledge in production engineering, operations, and maintenance.
• Familiar with offshore operations and regulatory compliance in Malaysia.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Based in Kuala Lumpur with willingness to travel offshore when required.
