Description

  • Plan, execute, and optimize well intervention operations, ensuring they meet reservoir, production, and integrity objectives.
  • Lead and manage interventions involving slickline, electric line, coiled tubing, hydraulic workover, zonal isolation, and well stimulation.
  • Prepare and review well intervention programs and procedures, ensuring they comply with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with subsurface, production, drilling, and service company teams to develop and execute interventions efficiently.
  • Oversee vessel operations and logistics for offshore intervention campaigns.
  • Support rig-based operations for offline intervention activities, such as pre-P&A tasks and perforation.
  • Develop intervention strategies for well integrity restoration, surveillance, enhancement, and plug & abandonment.
  • Ensure all intervention activities adhere to budget and regulatory requirements, including OPEX and Production CAPEX planning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve challenges during intervention execution, ensuring minimal operational delays.
  • Contribute technical expertise in deepwater well intervention and act as a subject-matter expert where required.
  • Monitor well intervention KPIs and report on performance, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirement

  • Degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 12 years of oil & gas experience, with at least 10 years in well intervention (slickline, electric line, coiled tubing, hydraulic workover stimulation, fishing, well integrity, etc.).
  • Proven track record of planning and executing interventions (workovers, stimulation, gas lift, workover re-completion, P&A, fishing, zonal isolation, well surveillance, well integrity diagnostics).
  • Familiarity with offshore and onshore operations (deepwater experience is often a plus).
  • Familiar with the regulatory requirement on well intervention, i.e. routine, non-routine, PE-IWR, budget process (OPEX, Prod Capex etc).
  • Experience in managing vessel operations and support for well intervention.
  • Capable with proven track record in supporting rig operations for offline activities related to well interventions, i.e. pre- P&A, offline perforation etc.
  • Experience in managing deepwater intervention operations is a plus.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams (subsurface, drilling, production, service companies).
