Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in offshore operations for FPSO/SPAR and deepwater developments.
- Provide strategic and operational consultancy to clients on production operations, facilities integrity, process control, flow assurance, and asset reliability.
- Support clients in resolving complex operational challenges, including system upsets, integrity issues, and production optimization.
- Advise on operational readiness, start-up, shutdown, commissioning, and steady-state operations of FPSO/SPAR facilities.
- Lead and participate in technical reviews, operational assessments, gap analyses, and risk assessments for offshore assets.
- Provide expert input to deepwater project development, including concept selection, design reviews, and operational philosophy.
- Interface with client stakeholders, project teams, offshore personnel, and third-party contractors to deliver consultancy outcomes.
- Mentor junior consultants and engineers and contribute to capability development within the consultancy team.
- Support business development activities through proposal preparation, technical presentations, and client engagements.
Requirement
- Possess at least a recognized Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
- Registered Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) for local candidates.
- Minimum 13 years of relevant oil and gas industry experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on FPSO/SPAR operational experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in deepwater projects.
- Strong understanding of offshore production systems, operational excellence, and asset integrity management.
- Proven experience providing technical advisory or consultancy services to operators or project teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
