• Senior Technician (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, General Trades)

We are seeking Junior and Senior Technicians to join technical and skilled trades workforce. These roles are essential in supporting operations, maintenance, and project execution across diverse industries. Successful candidates will gain valuable exposure to challenging projects and contribute to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Junior Technician Roles

• Perform routine installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation systems.
• Carry out skilled trade work such as welding, fabrication, carpentry, or plumbing under supervision.
• Conduct inspections, identify basic faults, and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Assist project teams with technical support and day-to-day tasks.

Senior Technician Roles

• Lead specialized technical functions and oversee complex trade work.
• Supervise and mentor junior technicians, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Troubleshoot advanced technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Drive process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and technical best practices.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and support managers in project planning and execution.
• Act as a subject matter expert in assigned trade areas.

Requirements

• Diploma, technical certificate, or vocational training in relevant fields (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Welding, Fabrication, Carpentry, Plumbing).
• 2 to 8 years of relevant experience for Junior Technician roles.
• 8 to 12 years of relevant experience for Senior Technician roles.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and compliance standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and operate relevant tools/equipment.
• Good communication skills in Malay and English.
• Hands-on problem-solving ability.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Team-oriented with strong work ethic.
• Leadership and mentoring skills (for Senior Technician roles).
• Flexibility to adapt to project-based assignments.
