About the role

Our client, a reputable company in the [Oil & Gas], is seeking a Senior Executive, Learning & Development to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving workforce capability, developing training programs, and supporting the implementation of learning initiatives to build a strong talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and implementation of learning and development strategies aligned with business needs.

  • Coordinate, deliver, and evaluate training programs covering technical, safety, compliance, and leadership development.

  • Conduct training needs analysis and skills gap assessments to identify learning priorities.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of competency frameworks for technical and non-technical roles.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure high-quality training content and delivery.

  • Monitor training effectiveness using feedback, performance metrics, and continuous improvement practices.

  • Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and program documentation.

  • Promote digital learning tools, knowledge sharing, and a continuous learning culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field.

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Talent Management (preferably in Oil & Gas or related industry).

  • Strong knowledge of competency frameworks, training design, and workforce development practices.

  • Proven ability to manage training programs and drive employee development initiatives.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
