Description

  • Work closely with the Drilling Supervisor to monitor and report on all Well Operations (drilling and well intervention activities) to ensure that the Well Work Programs are conducted safely, efficiently and cost'-effectively.
  • Liaise closely with the Drilling Contractor's to usher for Rig based activities and the Well Services Supervisor for stand'-alone Intervention activities to ensure that all operations are planned and conducted safely.
  • Ensure that the highest Safety Standards are maintained and that all equipment and procedures are in compliance with Regulatory Authority and COMPANY requirements.
  • Review and have an in depth understanding of the Basis of Design, Drilling and Completion Programmes as well as any other relevant programmes.
  • Prepare the daily report on all on going activities with full identification of all failures, lost time, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure that any Safety Related Incidents or Operational Non' Conformance Events and appropriate actions determined, which occur, are reported immediately to the Drilling Supervisor.
  • Report on actions taken to correct Operational Non'- Conformance Events.
  • Monitor the Drilling Contractor's Operational plans and Progress Reports and make recommendations to the Well Delivery Manager on ways of optimising performance, minimising Non'-Productive Time and maximising the cost'- effectiveness of operations.
  • Analyse operational problems in conjunction with the onshore and offshore engineering teams to assist with development of corrective actions.
  • Understand the COMPANY BMS and the relevant procedures and processes contained within the system.
  • Responsible for all chemical use tracking against PON XV B and F.

Requirement

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualifications
  • Be in possession of a current IWCF Combined Supervisors Level well control certificate
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the Drilling Industry, of which 5 years (minimum) as an Offshore Night Drilling Supervisor and have work for 3 years (minimum) on Jack'-up Rig.
  • Preferably have previous experience of operations offshore Malaysia.
