About the job Facilitator (Safety & Risk)
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate risk assessment workshops including:
- Construction Risk Assessment (CRA)
- Marine Risk Assessment (Marine RA)
- Shutdown Risk Assessment (Shutdown RA)
- Well Risk Assessment (Well Intervention, Infill Drilling, Wireline/Slickline, Coil Tubing Operations, etc.)
- Hazard Identification (HAZID)
- Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP)
- Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Classification and Verification Studies
- Coordinate with project teams, operations personnel, engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective risk assessment execution.
- Identify hazards, threats, consequences, safeguards, and risk reduction measures.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, review, and validate workshop reports, action registers, and risk assessment deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance on risk mitigation strategies and safety improvements.
- Ensure all workshop outcomes are properly documented and communicated to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Possesses Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of ten (10) years working experience related to safety & risk in oil and gas industry.
- Facilitated a minimum of five (5) offshore projects related to Construction Risk Assessment (CRA), Marine Risk assessment (RA) and Shutdown RA respectively.
- Facilitated a minimum of three (3) offshore projects related to Well Risk Assessment (RA) (e.g. Well Intervention, Infill drilling, Wireline / Slickline & Coil Tubing Operations etc.).
- Facilitated a minimum of five (5) offshore projects related to Hazard Identification (HAZID), Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) or Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Classification / Verification Studies.
