About the job Instrument Engineer
Responsibilities
- Provide instrument engineering input for process safety studies and related deliverables.
- Review and verify instrumentation data relevant to Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and safety studies.
- Support site verification activities and identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions.
- Coordinate with process engineers and draughtsmen on instrument-related drawings and documentation.
- Ensure instrumentation design complies with applicable standards, codes, and Client specifications.
- Support technical reviews and resolution of Client comments.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience in oil & gas instrumentation engineering.
- Knowledge of hazardous area requirements and oil & gas facilities.
- Familiar with industry standards and engineering practices.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
