About the job Instrument Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Provide instrument engineering input for process safety studies and related deliverables.
  • Review and verify instrumentation data relevant to Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and safety studies.
  • Support site verification activities and identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions.
  • Coordinate with process engineers and draughtsmen on instrument-related drawings and documentation.
  • Ensure instrumentation design complies with applicable standards, codes, and Client specifications.
  • Support technical reviews and resolution of Client comments.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in oil & gas instrumentation engineering.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area requirements and oil & gas facilities.
  • Familiar with industry standards and engineering practices.
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
