Position : Offshore Roving Chief Engineer

Scope of Works:
- Act as the technical authority for all marine engineering systems onboard assigned offshore assets.
- Monitor, inspect, and audit vessel or unit machinery, propulsion, and utility systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Provide troubleshooting and engineering support to offshore Chief Engineers and marine crews across different assets.
- Supervise and verify maintenance activities in accordance with PMS (Planned Maintenance System) and company standards.
- Ensure compliance with classification society requirements (ABS, DNV, BV, LR) and marine statutory regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, IMO).
- Review technical reports, defect logs, and maintenance records to recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Support pre-docking, dry docking, and major overhaul planning and execution.
- Liaise with onshore technical and asset integrity teams to coordinate maintenance, spare parts, and technical support.
- Participate in HSE meetings, audits, and investigations to uphold safety and environmental compliance.
- Mentor and guide onboard engineers and technical personnel to strengthen operational competency.
- Provide input during mobilization, demobilization, and rig move operations when required.
Minimum Requirement(s):
- Certificate of Competency (CoC) Class 1 Marine Engineer Officer (Unlimited), recognized by the Malaysian Marine Department or equivalent.
- Minimum 10-15 years of seagoing and offshore experience, including time served as Chief Engineer on FPSO, FSO, or oil & gas support vessels.
