Scope of Work(s):
- Serve as the main point of contact between the company and regulatory authorities for all project-related approvals, permits, and compliance matters.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, site visits, and inspections with government agencies and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely submission and follow-up of all project documentation required by authorities.
- Provide regulatory advice and updates to the project team to ensure all activities adhere to applicable laws, standards, and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Support the project team in preparing technical documents, reports, and presentations for authority submissions.
- Monitor changes in regulations and standards related to oil and gas operations and communicate potential impacts to the project management team.
- Assist in risk assessments and mitigation planning related to authority and permit compliance.
- Participate in project planning and review meetings to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated into project execution plans.
Minimum Requirement(s):
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 15 years of practical experience in oil and gas projects (onshore, offshore, facilities, and pipeline).
- Minimum 7 years of experience as an Authority Liaison Officer, Coordinator, Logistic Officer, or in a similar capacity within oil and gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and compliance standards in the oil and gas industry.
- Extensive experience in the construction or upgrading of offshore facilities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple authority-related requirements simultaneously.
