Procurement Officer

Position : Procurement Officer

Industry : Oil & Gas

Location : Kuala Lumpur

Scope of Work(s):

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for goods and services.
• Prepare and evaluate tenders, quotations, and purchase orders.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and company standards.
• Maintain and update supplier records and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Support reporting, cost analysis, and procurement planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with PSC, JDA, or RSC procurement frameworks.

Minimum Requirement(s):

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 10 years of practical experience in procurement within upstream oil and gas companies.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Procurement Analyst.
• Working experience in PSC, JDA, or RSC companies is required.
• Strong knowledge of procurement requirements and procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.
