About the job Principal Engineer (Safety & Risk)
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform Formal Safety Assessments (FSA).
- Conduct safety engineering studies and technical risk evaluations.
- Prepare technical reports including:
- Safety Impact Assessment Reports
- Gap Analysis Reports
- Risk Assessment Reports
- Safety and Risk Evaluation Reports
- Review operational and facility modifications to determine safety implications.
- Assess risks associated with campaign activities and facility changes.
- Provide recommendations for risk reduction and safety enhancement.
- Support project teams in ensuring compliance with applicable HSE standards and requirements.
- Review and verify risk assessment deliverables and technical documentation.
Requirement
- Possesses Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of ten (10) years working experience related to safety & risk in oil and gas industry.
- Experienced in carrying out Formal Safety Assessment (FSA) and capable to carry out technical reporting (e.g. Safety Impact Assessment Report, Gap Analysis report etc.) that typically relates to campaign activities or changes on facility.
