Job Description:
- Operate offshore cranes to support platform operations, including lifting, loading, and unloading activities, in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
- Maintain effective communication with deck crew and operations personnel to ensure safe and coordinated lifting operations.
- Work on a 12-hour shift basis (day or night) as required by operational needs.
- Participate in offshore rotational schedules, typically 28 days offshore followed by 14 days onshore, with possible rotation on a two-week basis depending on operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with offshore rotation limits, with a maximum continuous offshore rotation not exceeding four weeks.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of crane equipment to ensure operational integrity and safety.
- Support general production and maintenance-related activities as required by offshore operations.
- Provide operational continuity by supporting relief operations in cases of emergency, illness, or unforeseen absence.
- Report to offshore supervisory personnel, including Petroleum Engineering Representatives, Well Testing Engineers, or Production Operations personnel, as required.
Qualification/Skills:
- Certified Offshore Crane Operator with valid competency certifications
- Strong knowledge of offshore lifting procedures, safety standards, and crane operational limits.
- Ability to work on rotational schedules and 12-hour shifts, including day and night shifts.
- Familiarity with routine crane inspection and basic maintenance practices.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with offshore deck crew and operations teams.
- Physically fit for offshore work and medically certified for offshore duties.
- Compliance with offshore safety training requirements (e.g., BOSIET/FOET, HUET, medical fitness, and relevant safety courses).
