Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, regulators, and industry associations.
  • Monitor and analyze policies, regulations, and legislation affecting the oil & gas sector.
  • Advise management on regulatory compliance, policy risks, and emerging government trends.
  • Represent the company in government, community, and industry stakeholder engagements.
  • Support advocacy strategies to influence favorable regulatory and business environments.
  • Prepare reports, position papers, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Political Science, Law, Public Policy, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in government relations, policy, or regulatory affairs.
  • Strong knowledge of oil & gas industry regulations and governmental processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior government officials and stakeholders effectively.
