IDC Sales Manager
About the job IDC Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development
- Manage and grow IDC business in Singapore and neighboring regions, offering services such as data center solutions (e.g., equipment installation, commissioning, integrated cabling), network services, and other related offerings.
- Explore customer needs in depth and expand the customer base, targeting large tech companies (e.g., Tencent, ByteDance, Alibaba), global telecom operators (e.g., CMI, CTG, CUG), and data center providers (e.g., Equinix, STT, GDS).
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential clients and partners, gaining a deep understanding of their business models to provide tailored solutions.
- Manage ongoing customer relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring satisfaction.
3. Sales Target Achievement
- Develop and execute sales plans, ensuring sales targets are met.
- Monitor market trends and customer needs regularly, optimizing sales strategies and adjusting business directions as needed.
4. Industry Cooperation and Ecosystem Development
- Actively engage in industry activities, deepen partnerships with suppliers and service providers, and support ecosystem growth.
5. Internal Collaboration and Reporting
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (pre-sales, project delivery, finance) to ensure timely project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports on sales progress and market conditions to management, along with key feedback and business insights.
Job Requirements
Industry Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in IDC-related fields (e.g., data centers, network equipment, integrated cabling).
- Familiarity with the IDC industry ecosystem and solutions (e.g., network equipment, data center construction, service delivery).
Customer Resources:
- Global telecom operators: CMI, CTG, CUG
- Data center providers: Equinix, STT, GDS, BDX Singapore, BDC, etc.
Sales Skills:
- Ability to independently handle pre-sales support, customer demand analysis, quoting, and negotiations, and manage the full business cycle from solution development to contract finalization.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate cross-cultural environments.
