Saiful Bouquet Structural Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Los Angeles

headquarters. This position offers a growth-oriented career path in structural engineering, where the

selected candidate will work alongside Project Managers and structural engineers on large-scale,

complex projects.

As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in structural design, detailing, and coordination with

multidisciplinary teams while gaining exposure to a variety of exciting and challenging projects.


Key Responsibilities

Design and detail structural systems for large, complex projects in various market sectors.

Collaborate with Project Managers, Revit draftspersons, architects, and consultants to

ensure project success.

Ensure compliance with building codes, seismic regulations, and industry standards.

Perform structural analysis, calculations, and detailing for steel and concrete structures.

Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, and project coordination efforts.

Assist in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.

Must-Have Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 3-6+ years of building design experience.

Education: Masters degree in Structural Engineering from a U.S. university.

Technical Expertise:

Strong experience in Type I construction (steel and concrete structures).

Ability to design and detail large, complex structural systems across multiple

market sectors.

Proficiency in Revit and ability to coordinate with draftspersons, architects, and

consultants.

Strong understanding of building codes, seismic analysis, and structural design

principles.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience working with DSA and OSHPD (preferred but not required).

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
