Elite Staffing Network is seeking an OB/GYN Physician in Huron, South Dakota.
Description:
The OB/GYN Physician provides clinical services including direct care to patients. The OB/GYN Physician performs practice duties in accordance with applicable federal and state statutes and regulations, Medical Staff Bylaws/Rules and Regulations, and HRMC policies and procedures. Responsible to appropriate Medical Staff Committee(s) and MEC regarding clinical requirements and reports to Vice President-Finance regarding administrative responsibilities.

Salary: $371,464 per year
Qualifications:
A. M.D./D.O. licensed to practice medicine in the State of South Dakota, and having current State and Federal Narcotics licensure.
B. ACLS Certified. Board certified in specialty within 2 years of residency completion.
C. Active member of HRMC Medical Staff.
Administrative Activities:
A. Continues to be an Active Staff medical staff member of HRMC.
B. Works with and through the Administration and other physicians to:
- Integrate services into the organizations primary functions
- Coordinate and integrate interdepartmental and intradepartmental services
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services of the clinic
- Recommend sufficient numbers of qualified and competent persons to provide care and treatment
- Determine qualifications and competence of clinic personnel who provide services and who are not licensed independent practitioners
- Continually assess and improve performance of care and services provided
- Participate in quality control programs
- Recommend space and other resources needed by the clinic
- Participate in the selection of sources for needed services not provided by the clinic.
C. Recommend to the medical staff the criteria for clinical responsibilities if needed.
D. Recommend clinical privileges for clinic staff as appropriate.
E. Provides appropriate on-site medical supervision and direction in conjunction with other physicians to all non-physician personnel in the clinic.
F. Organizes time effectively to meet clinic and hospital needs.
G. Consults in the determination and selection of equipment reasonably required for the operation of the clinic and assists in inspection and evaluation of all equipment to assure it is maintained in a usable condition.
H. Immediately forwards and assigns all payments for professional services received by Physician to HRMC through Contractor.

- Reviews patient satisfaction survey results as a measure of customer satisfaction.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Adjusts personal schedule to clinic and hospital needs as necessary to complete workload.
- Maintains absolute confidentiality of information in accordance with hospital's policies and procedures.
- Presents professional appearance and demeanor.

- Refers problems to and seeks assistance from proper authority.
- Communicates with and maintains effective working relationships with physicians to develop support for departmental programs.
Safety Activities:
- Keeps self currently knowledgeable of hospital safety rules and procedures and instruction for personal safety in practices proper safety techniques in accord with hospital and departmental safety policies and procedures and state/federal regulations.
- Consistently follows infection control and universal precaution procedures as applicable to the work at hand.
- Keeps work area in good order and free of obstacles.
- Immediately reports and appropriately documents all hazardous conditions, equipment malfunctions, and user errors affecting safety of self or others.
Customer Activities:
- Demonstrates understanding that patients, visitors, physicians and often other hospital staff are customers.
- Demonstrates understanding of customer relations and managing the moment of truth.
