POSITION LOCATION: Windhoek, Khomas, Namibia

POSITON NAME: Restaurant Manager

Purpose of the Job
To ensure an efficient and exceptional dining experience while maintaining brand standards, maximising food and beverage revenue, controlling costs, and effectively managing restaurant operations and staff.

Qualification

• Grade 12
• Diploma in Food & Beverage Management or equivalent
• Computer literate, particularly Microsoft Office
• SASA Junior Sommelier Certificate will be an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a junior supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
• Experience with restaurant POS and inventory systems will be an advantage

Position Requirements

• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of food safety, health and safety, and restaurant operations
• Ability to manage staff, rosters, stock and financial controls
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and extended hours as required in the hospitality industry
• Results-driven, organised, accountable and customer-focused
