POSITION SCOPE:

Implementing comprehensive quality control measures to maintain and enhance the overall standards of the organization. This involves regular assessments, meticulous monitoring of processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that products and services meet or exceed industry benchmarks and customer expectations. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Write and develop process control documentation.
• Develop test procedures to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Investigate quality problems, and assist in the generation of corrective actions and review actions for effective implementation.
• Conduct studies and participate in special assignments to upgrade manufacturing quality and efficiency standards.
• Contact vendors to discuss and assist with quality issues and resolve quality problems. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Iso-metric drawing reading and understanding.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving steel products and conveyor components.
• Strong knowledge of quality inspection tools, techniques, and best practices in the industry.
• Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001. 

KEY RESULTS AREAS (KRAs):

• Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, parts, and finished conveyor components to verify they adhere to quality standards and specifications.
• Documentation: Accurately document inspection results, testing data, and quality assurance activities, maintaining organized records of all findings.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure all conveyor components meet applicable industry standards and certification requirements, such as ISO 9001, and conform to quality management system protocols.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate product defects or non-conformities, ascertain root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future issues.
• Reporting: Generate comprehensive quality control reports for management review, highlighting metrics, findings, and recommendations for process improvements.
