Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced mechanic to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent service and ensuring the proper functioning of vehicles and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles (loaders, trucks, forklifts, machinery, etc.).
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and determine the appropriate solutions.
  • Inspect and test vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Replace or repair damaged or worn-out parts, including brakes, belts, engines, and tires.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and verify repair needs.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Follow safety procedures and adhere to quality standards while performing repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Communicate with management regarding the status of repairs and services.
  • Ensure timely completion of service orders and repairs.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, repair techniques, and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a mechanic (10+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanical repair techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a mechanic shop environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and tools (up to 20kg).
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces.
  • Standing for extended periods during the workday.
