Location: Walvis Bay, Namibia

International meat/proteins trading Business, Importer, exporter and supplier, seeking growth in their Namibian sales business across frozen foods/Frozen meat (poultry, pork, beef, fish, and vegetables). The role is ideal for a commercially focused individual with experience in selling food and meat commodities to clients/producers and processors in Namibian markets.

Note, we are willing to look as someone outside of the trade, key account experience is a must.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Generate and maintain relationships with buyers in the wholesale, retail, restaurant, and food company sectors, focusing on expanding profits in Namibia.
• Negotiate forward deal/ contract with the clients.
• Plan and execute forward shipments.
• Stay updated on market information and trends.
• Ensure timely reporting of sales figures.
• Communicate with the procurement team to meet client requirements.
• Work with the logistics team to ensure smooth operations and efficient delivery/supply chain management.
• Maintain seamless communication with customers.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in food/meat or frozen product sales within African markets.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive business development across the sector.
• Experience in handling logistics and operations for frozen products.
• A solid understanding of the Namibian market.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans.
• Willingness to travel frequently for client relationship management.
