POSITION SCOPE:

• Will oversee all warehousing activities following safety, quality, delivery and cost in that order.
• Ensures on time deliveries and quality of all products supplied.
• Ensure housekeeping is maintained at all times.
• Responsible for inventory management, assembly of BCP. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Supervising and assisting in the unloading/loading of containers.

• Receipt all stock on the system as per the physical quantities received.

• Create production orders and ensuring the bill of materials are loaded correctly on the system.

• Follow up with forwarders regarding incoming shipments.

• Preparing outgoing shipments and ensure all documentation is in order.

• Packing list

• Commercial invoice (with HS codes)

• Export instructions where applicable

• Appropriate packaging is used

• Liaise with customers regarding the status of their orders.

• Conduct weekly cycle counts.

• Conduct quarterly wall to wall stock takes. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• 3-4 years previous warehouse experience preferred.

• Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills.

KEY RESULTS AREAS (KRAs):

• Ensuring the product is packaged so it reaches the customer in excellent condition. Also, the quantities and part numbers.
• Inventory control, maintaining accurate products inventory (considering quantity and locations). Daily run cycle counting process and report.
• Keeping the warehouse area clean and the upkeep of the equipment with proper maintenance and cleaning.
• Prepare domestic and international orders. Creating reports (pictures, excel datasheet, etc.), packing orders and information for export clearance.
