LIVPadel Club Manager
Position Purpose
The LIVPadel Club Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and growth of LIVPadel Windhoek, ensuring efficient club operations, excellent customer service and a vibrant and welcoming environment for players and visitors.
The role requires a hands-on, energetic and people-oriented manager who will oversee club operations, staff, events, marketing, bar and stock management and basic financial administration.
Key Responsibilities
Club Operations & Customer Experience
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the club and Padel courts.
- Oversee court bookings and player registrations.
- Ensure the courts, facilities and club environment are well maintained and professionally presented.
- Be a visible and approachable presence at the club and ensure a high standard of customer service.
- Build strong relationships with players and create a welcoming and engaging club environment.
- Manage and supervise club and bar staff and coordinate staff schedules according to operational requirements.
Marketing & Club Growth
- Actively market and promote LIVPadel to grow participation and increase court utilisation.
- Promote tournaments, leagues, corporate events, social events and other club activities.
- Maintain active communication with the LIVPadel community through social media, WhatsApp and other appropriate channels.
- Build relationships with companies and other potential partners.
- Identify opportunities for corporate bookings, events, partnerships and other revenue-generating activities.
Events & Tournaments
- Plan and coordinate tournaments, leagues, corporate functions and social events.
- Respond to corporate and other event enquiries and prepare quotations for companies wishing to host events at LIVPadel.
- Coordinate all event requirements, including court bookings, staffing, bar requirements, catering and external suppliers.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and service providers where required.
- Ensure events are professionally organised and provide an excellent experience for participants and clients.
Bar & Stock Management
- Oversee the operation of the club bar through the relevant staff.
- Manage beverage and other club stock (on ERPLY), including ordering, receiving and regular stock counts.
- Ensure accurate stock controls and investigate discrepancies.
- Liaise with suppliers and ensure sufficient stock is available for normal club operations and events.
- Coordinate externally supplied food/snacks and catering where required.
Financial & Administrative Management
- Oversee basic debtors, creditors and expense administration (on XERO) in conjunction with the club's external accounting service provider.
- Ensure invoices and supporting financial documentation are accurately maintained and submitted timeously.
- Oversee cashless/card payment processes and appropriate reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate operational and administrative records.
- Monitor expenditure and apply appropriate cost controls.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous management experience in a similar operational and customer-facing environment is non-negotiable.
- Proven ability to manage staff and take responsibility for day-to-day operations.
- Experience in organising or managing events.
- Strong marketing, networking and relationship-building ability.
- Good customer-service and interpersonal skills.
- Sound organisational and administrative ability.
- Basic financial and stock-management understanding.
- Computer literate and comfortable using social media and digital platforms.
- Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends according to the operational requirements of the club.
Advantageous
- Previous experience within a sports club, leisure, hospitality, fitness or similar environment.
- Experience in marketing, promoting or growing a customer-facing business.
- A strong interest in sport.
- Knowledge of or involvement in Padel.

Working Hours
This is a full-time position of approximately 45 hours per week, with flexible working hours based on the operational requirements of the club.
The position will require evening and weekend work, particularly for tournaments, corporate functions and other events.
Training
Appropriate LIVPadel operational and systems training will be provided, which may include training in South Africa.
