Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to lead critical SAP installations, upgrades, and migrations, while ensuring optimal system performance. You will manage SAP BW/4HANA landscapes, provide 3rd-level operational support, and execute complex system tasks such as Unicode conversions and cloud migrations. Key Responsibilities

  • SAP Basis Administration:
    Lead SAP Basis installations, upgrades, migrations, and ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
  • SAP BW/4HANA RISE Landscape:
    Administer and manage SAP BW/4HANA RISE environments and provide expert operational support (3rd level).
  • System Maintenance:
    Perform system patching, transport management, SAP system health checks, and manage system security including SSO setup, SSL configurations, and SAProuter installations.
  • Complex SAP Projects:
    Lead BC part of SAP BW/4HANA migration projects, from planning to delivery, ensuring best practices.
  • Cloud Management:
    Manage cloud-based SAP environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience in large-scale SAP environments.
    • Expertise in SAP NetWeaver, ECC, S/4HANA, Solution Manager, and BusinessObjects.
  • Technical Expertise:

    • Experience with operating systems like Windows, Solaris, and Redhat.
    • Strong knowledge of databases including MSSQL, Oracle, and SAP HANA.
    • Expertise in SAP installations, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and system performance optimization.
    • Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure and RISE and experience with database migrations.
  • Security & Authentication:

    • Experience with SAML, Kerberos, SPNego, and SSO setups for SAP GUI and web interfaces.
  • Communication & Client Interaction:

    • Excellent communication skills with experience working directly with clients in a consulting capacity. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues effectively.
