Job Description
We are partnering with RESA, a key player in the energy sector, to recruit an experienced Enterprise Architect to align the companys strategy with its Business, Application, and Data architecture layers. This role is part of the Enterprise Architecture team within the Transformation and Digitalization department. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with other architects to develop proposals for IT direction and application/infrastructure evolution, ensuring they align with the long-term needs and goals of the organization.
The successful candidate will evaluate the technical and business lifecycle of software, working closely with Application Owners and Application Managers. They will document RESAs architecture using a specialized tool (Avolution) and create, maintain, and reassess standards and procedures, ensuring consistency in architectural documents, application/infrastructure links, and related documentation.
This role requires a solid understanding of Enterprise Architecture methodologies (such as TOGAF or similar) and will focus on key projects like CMS 2.0 and new SCADA systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure alignment between business strategy and architecture layers (Business, Application, Data).
- Develop proposals for IT direction and application/infrastructure evolution.
- Collaborate with Application Owners and Application Managers to evaluate software lifecycle based on business and technology needs.
- Document RESAs architecture in the Avolution tool.
- Create, maintain, and reassess architectural standards, procedures, and documentation.
- Define and maintain technology standards in collaboration with the IT team.
- Work on projects such as CMS 2.0 and the new SCADA system.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Specific Skills:
- Enterprise Architecture or Application Landscape Analysis (1 to 5 years).
- Familiarity with an architecture tool (Avolution or similar).
- Experience in business process analysis and application lifecycle management.
Sector Skills:
- Knowledge of at least one of the following GRD areas: Market, Gridfee, Metering, SCADA, Network Operations (investments/maintenance).
- Experience in the energy sector.
General Skills:
- Proficiency in English (B2).
- Fluent in French (C2).
- Proficiency in Dutch (B1).
