Job Description

We are partnering with RESA, a key player in the energy sector, to recruit an experienced Business Analyst (Smart Grid) to join their transition energy program. This role will focus on Smart Grid solutions and their integration into the technical operations of RESA. The Business Analyst will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to document business processes, identify needs, and contribute to the development of solutions aimed at improving network planning, demand management, and energy flow optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize workshops and meetings to identify and clarify business needs, objectives, and issues.
  • Lead workshops to define and document target business processes (to be) with business experts and future software users.
  • Document business processes according to RESA standards and integrate them into enterprise mapping.
  • Write Business Requirements and collaborate with external functional analysts.
  • Contribute to the definition of test plans and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with the business.
  • Participate in various projects within the Smart Grid program, working in RESAs offices at least 3 days per week (remaining work can be done remotely).

Required Skills and Qualifications

Specific Skills:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects (3 to 5 years).
  • Experience as a Process Analyst (documentation, KPIs, continuous improvement) (3 to 5 years).
  • Experience leading workshops with business experts.
  • Proficient in process modeling tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio).
  • Fluent in French (C2).
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of BPMN for process documentation (3 to 5 years).
  • Experience working on projects related to energy transition is preferred.

Sector Skills:

  • Experience working with GRDs (Grid Operators) is a plus.
