Our client is currently seeking to hire experienced LOCAL Journeyman and Apprentice (2nd-4th year) Instrumentation Technicians. Responsibilities:
· Adhere to the safety policies set out by our client and their customers.
· Install, repair, calibrate and test valves, tubing, switches, transmitters, and other instrumentation devices.
· Be knowledgeable about and understand proper use of instrumentation testing equipment.
· Keep up on all admin duties including submitting daily tickets and material ordering.
· Read, interpret, and redline P&IDs.
· Mentor other technicians providing them with the knowledge you have in the trade.
Qualifications:
· Certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician
· Flexible Work Schedule The ability to work shift work, overtime, and weekends.
· Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSO, Fall Arrest, and Aerial Work Platform Required.
· Valid Class 5 drivers license
· Must be able to work well in a team or independently when required.
· Industrial oil & gas industry experience is an asset.
