About the job:
We are currently looking for 3rd and 4th year apprentices as well as Journeymen Mechanics.
With a reputation of exemplary service, our client is recognized a leading provider of fluid pumping and transportation in Northern Alberta. Our client is a locally owned, family oriented company that experiences continual growth in the industry; with a dynamic team that is committed to safety and superior customer service. . This position will require an on-call field rotation. We offer competitive wages, a team atmosphere, tool allowance, and a full benefit package.
The ideal candidate for our clients team will have:
- Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems
- Team player with a strong commitment to quality
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to use Cummins Insite program
- Ability to perform physically demanding duties
- Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in trade
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Have a strong mechanical aptitude and have the ability to handle multiple tasks
Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License
- Experience and knowledge in diagnosing and repairing heavy truck tractors, tank truck trailers and various other equipment.
- Commitment to Safety
- Ability to work flexible hours with minimal supervision and on call rotation.
- CVIP classification is considered an asset
