Electrician - Journeyman and 3rd/4th year Apprentices 

Out client, located in Grande Prairie, Alberta, is currently seeking to hire experienced Electricians, both Journeyman/woman, and 3rd/4th year Apprentices. Our client is on a fast-paced trajectory of growth in the electrical and instrumentation sector, with a primary focus on serving the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities:

· Adhere to the safety policies set out by our client and their customers.

· Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical code specifications.

· Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.

· Install, examine, replace and/or repair electrical components including but not limited to wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, AC/DC motors and drivers.

· The ability to understand the Canadian electrical code book.

· Keep up on all admin duties including submitting daily tickets and material ordering.

Qualifications:

· Certified Electricians - Journeyman and third/fourth year Apprentices

· Flexible Work Schedule The ability to work shift work, overtime, and weekends.

· Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSO, Fall Arrest, and Aerial Work Platform Required.

· Valid Class 5 drivers license

· Must be able to work well in a team or independently when required.

· Industrial oil & gas industry experience is an asset.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $50.00-$57.00 per hour
