Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team. As a Credentialing Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that healthcare providers are properly credentialed and enrolled with insurance companies and government agencies. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the credentialing process for healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
• Verify and maintain accurate provider information in accordance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and government agencies to complete credentialing applications and enrollment forms.
• Conduct thorough credentialing and background checks to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and healthcare providers to resolve credentialing issues and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credentialing guidelines, payer requirements, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with credentialing software systems and databases (e.g., CAQH, NPPES, PECOS) is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote work environment.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to compliance standards.
