Job Description

  • Manage direct & indirect material planning & stock analysis to match production consumption.
  • Manage inventory stock levels of direct & indirect material to the company’s targets.
  • Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, payment terms, delivery and service with suppliers.
  • Response for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance to the company policies and procedure.
  • Track & coordinate with the suppliers & transporters to ensure the shipment arrives on schedule.
  • Ensure that appropriate documents associated with a purchase / shipment are distributed to the concerned department.
  • Prepare reports and summarize data as management and other departments.
  • Prepare monthly consignment report and confirm to supplier.
  • Highlight & communicate urgently to appropriate managers if any shipment is known or suspected of being late.
  • Other tasks as required by management.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in accounting, business administration or/and related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years experiences in logistics/ shipping, procurement; Experience in manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Commit to meet deadline project.
  • Familiar with SUN system or other accounting systems.
  • Cost effectiveness whilst maintaining the required quality and supply.
  • Conscientious, highly motivated and good initiative.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, safety awareness and teamwork.
