System Engineer

INTRODUCTION

The incumbent is accountable for installs, configures, test operating systems, application software, virtualization, system maintenance tool customer infrastructure (Banking and MFI) and wide area networks to ensure network devices are at the latest or advanced stage of development, innovation and pioneering in cutting-edge network technology and monitoring the issue.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY 

• Monitor on setting, Install, testing, maintenance on operation systems, application software, and system management tools.
• In depth knowledge on Linux, Unix, Windows, VMware
• Good knowledge on SAN, NAS, DAS, and Virtual environments
• Upgrade application, server, storage to lasts firmware/patch release.
• Replacement server, storage equipment
• Anticipating & troubleshooting systems related issues
• Communicate and facilitate with other department for any incident of notification require.
• Day to day technical operation activities and support to the customer request support.
• Ensure whole system quality, healthy, security and high performance
• Ensure ticket of request support are fixed following SLA and keep update status to help-desk team or user regularly.
• Other tasks assign by direct supervisor.

QAULIFICATION-REQUIREMENT 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant field.
• At least 2-year experience in IT support and fresh graduate are also encouraged to apply.
• Understanding of Windows and Linux client and server architectures.
• Experience with VMware vSphere 6+, LAN/WAN, virtualization, and containerization.
• Exceptional knowledge of networking technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring.
• Fluent in English both spoken and written is mandatory.
• Willing to learn, fast leaner, flexibility, self-motivate and “Can do” attitude.
• Be able to work with under pressure environment
