PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

  1. Develop, review, implement & keep up-to-date bank wide banking support / operations policy & procedures. Ensure efficient & effective banking support services with compliance to internal, external & regulatory requirement.
  2. Role as Relief Branch Manager during the absence of BM
  3. Assist HOO in designing and conducting training on Operations to all Branches staff to ensure compliance with internal control and customer banking experience improvement.
  4. Establishes good rapport with existing customers and continuously develops and increases the banking business

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform relief duty of Branch Manager
  • Ensure the smooth running of the day to day operations of the branch. This includes the overall management and development of the branch during performing the relief duty.
  • Support overall branches operational process
  • Support branch to close EDD alert, large amount transactions & voucher for Management approval
  • Support branches to deliver satisfactory services and maintain high quality of services.
  • Conducts process-walk-through and internal quality assurance evaluations on bank processes, people, facilities, and systems.
  • Develop, implement and maintain sound operational functions policies, procedures and guidelines that are in compliance with the relevant Acts, Laws, Rules of the National Bank of Cambodia, directives and guidelines issued by the regulatory bodies and the Banks internal policies and procedures. Ensure the staff adherence to the policies and procedures.
  • Review all manuals under Operations Department
  • Provide training, coaching, guidance and feedback to staff in view of their work performance to develop a team of competent staff force.
  • Any other task as required by management.
  • Assist HOD in specific Working Groups formed for regulatory implementation.
REQUIREMENTS (Qualification/Experience/Skills\
Formal Education:
  • Degree holder with 5-7 years bank / financial industry related working experience in credit, operations and/or product development.
Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry):
  • Knowledge in overall banking support / operations functions in the bank including system, infrastructure, equipment In depth understanding of financial product research, design, launching and related marketing / promotion program and plan.
  • Knowledge in overall Credit Management/Credit Assessment
