PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
- Assist unit head to design and deliver all learning and development activity in the company.
- Identify staff performance gaps as well as consult with business stakeholders on best approach to address gaps with reference of company guideline/policy.
- Make sure all staff (including all new joiners) aware of the company guidelines/procedure/culture components and recommend change program that address the gaps.
- Ensure all staff are well equipped with necessary skill set and knowledge (inputs to be provided by respective Heads) to perform well in their tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist unit head to develop annual training budget and programs
- Manage training administration and facilities with close relationship with academy (Head Office).
- Assist to implement a training needs analysis.
- Plan the learning and development directive by the banks Learning and Development guideline, planning and budget.
- Map a plan with hiring manager/Heads to provide a learning and development program to reach the performance target/objective.
- Liaise with other departments (including HR) to develop new in-house training program.
- Source and coordinate with training consultant to provide external training to address staff and training needs.
- Arrange and organize annual learning and development schedule such as induction program, mandatory learning by guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain the course catalog, course scheduling, and coordination with group and other vendor.
- Keep and record training courses in system.
REQUIREMENTS (Qualification/Experience/Skills
Professional Accreditation:
- Certificate in learning and development in Banking and Finance would be an added advantage.
Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry):
- At least 2 years of working experience with learning and development in bank/ international bank.
- Have sound knowledge of Banking law and Labor law, Prakas and Circular as well as banking operation and practice;
- Experiences in banking industry preferably in training, human resource, legal, operations, etc.
- Exudes confidence and ability to exercise good judgment in handling confidential information.
- Detailed oriented to deliver timely and quality reports.
- Good understanding of the concepts of staff-built up capacity and competency.
- Good knowledge of local statutory and regulatory obligations governing banking industry.
- Ability to execute strong working relationships within the Group.
