Position: Unit Head, Credit Risk Management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide initiatives and support BU/FU on the credit risk identification, assessment and mitigation.

• Evaluate and ensure adequate controls in the relevant BU/FU in respect of resiliency, effectiveness and efficiency.

• Work with BU/FU in reporting operational risk-credit risk related events and establish root causes and appropriate action plans

• Conduct review of the KRI thresholds for credit risk related matters by BU/FU to ensure relevancy and follow-up on action plans for KRI breaches.

• Prepare relevant risk reports to Senior Management, Group Risk Management and Group Capital Risk Committee on matters relating to credit risk.

• Liaise with HQ on implementation of credit risk framework, policies and methodologies.

• Ensure compliance to relevant NBC Prakas on credit risk.

• Ensure compliance to relevant Group and local policies and guidelines.

• Pursue industry best practices in credit risk management, applications, mitigation and controls.

• Provide full support to the other risk pillars.

REQUIREMENTS (Qualification/Experience/Skills)

Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry):

Minimum 5 years experience in risk management, preferably with experience in credit risk management.

Other skills required:

• Well versed with related NBC Prakas on credit and credit risk.

• Knowledge in liquidity, operational risk and technology risk management will be an added advantage.

• Ability to establish good relationship and articulate key risk issues with stakeholders

• Have good written / verbal communication, presentation and analytical skills
