Job Purpose: 

  • Plan and manage overall phase for projects
  • Conducting feasibility studies of equipment
  • Record, evaluate testing data and release reports to upper management
  • Update on new automation technology

Key Roles and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities):

  • Supervises, trains, evaluates, and coordinates activities of subordinates
  • Work with supplier to develop automation solutions as per requirement
  • Liaise with domestic and international suppliers to contract the design and installation of systems
  • Co-operate with other department to collect requirement and data
  • Initiate innovation projects to support objectives of production: safety, quality, delivery and cost
  • Execution and meeting project deadlines
  • Develop and lead training for operators of equipment and systems
  • Maintain and update equipment and systems to support production demand
  • Responsible for the enforcement of company's internal labor regulation, policies and procedures or any instruction from the Management.

Key Results/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 

  • Number of successful completed projects on time

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Qualification Requirements:

  • Degree in Automation, Mechanical and Robotics Engineering

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation
  • Experience in Project execution (AGV, Robotics) in factory
  • Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing environment
  • Preferable to have at least 2 years in a hands-on managerial role
  • Proficient in PLC programing or 3D design
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to build and lead a team
  • Monitor and coach to achieve set targets

Technical competency Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of automation and industrial robotic applications such as automated guided vehicle (AGV), robot palletizer, robot arm…
  • Familiar with 6S and TPM
  • Good in English communication
