The operations manager is responsible for the management and operational aspects of the department, ensuring the productivity and profitability of the business of International F&B brand (MX Caterers (Cambodia) Co., LTD.)

Summary of essential job functions

  • Manage and oversee the entire operations of (MX Caterers (Cambodia) Co., LTD.)
  • Mange market intelligence & collating market information to ensure competitivities of MXs products and services.
  • Assess Cambodia market potential for strategic development & business expansion to determine the feasibility of expanding (MX Caterers (Cambodia) Co., LTD.)s through detailed business analysis.
  • Develop commercial strategy and cope of business opportunities.
  • Identify unmet market needs or other industry opportunities to develop innovative branding & efficiency-enhancing strategies
  • Strategize, develop & implement business initiatives to achieve its key result metrics to align with the Brands larger regional business strategy.
  • Drive operational strategies to achieve business goals, market expansion & financial targets.
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations all retail outlets, including facilities, products & manpower.
  • Monitor financial performance vs. budget, identify areas for improvement & take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Proactively enhance & finetune existing operational capabilities to improve quality, increase productivity/profitability & efficiency.
  • Develop & implement strategies to attract, engage, and retain operational staff to ensure smooth execution of retail operations.
  • Train & develop a high-performing operations team.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or Finance/Accounting
  • Must be conversant in English & Cambodia to converse with regional stakeholders from different countries.
  • Minimum 10 years of F&B operations experience. Prior experience in Japanese F&B operations is advantageous.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify & mitigate potential gaps.
  • Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to train develop & mentor a high-performing core team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers, staff & stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relocation mobility beyond Cambodia may be required as MX continues to expand within Cambodia.
