Our client, a Financial Institution is hiring an Accounting Associate. This position will support the Finance & Operations Team.

Compensation: Commensurate with candidate experience
plus fringe benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate in the development and management of the company budget, including creating, reviewing, and adjusting budgets for new initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to monitor and assess organizational performance.
• Manage payroll processes, including setting up new hires, resolving discrepancies, and processing terminations in partnership with HR.
• Oversee accounts payable activities, including managing approval requests and vendor payments to ensure financial accountability.
• Support the preparation and analysis of financial forecasts and budgets related to operational activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related
• CPA a plus
• 3+ year of relevant experience in a similar role
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Attention to detail in preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports.
• Previous experience working or auditing government accounting is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills (English and Spanish)
