Our client Hambleton Group Construction Company, Inc. is looking for a PROJECT MANAGER / FIELD SUPERVISOR - JUNIOR

General Description: 

The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, supervision, coordination, and administration of the construction project. The candidate is responsible for all construction planning, monitoring, supervising, and reporting on their assigned project(s).

Job Type: Full-time; at project jobsite and office work.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Under an overall supervision of the PM leadership, the candidate will be responsible for:

1. Responsible for the monitoring, tracking of schedules, costs, risks, and quality, supervising and reporting on project deliverables.

2. Evaluate and monitor the quality process within their area of responsibility, assuring that every aspect of their work and services meet or exceed customer expectations, the contract requirements and are consistent with the quality goals of the company.

3. Monitor the project to comply with OSHA safety guidelines and provide support to incident recording / investigation when required.

4. Effectively communicate with appropriate internal and external groups related to the project.

5. Provide daily direction and mentorship to construction resources to ensure that Processes, Procedures, Quality Assurance, and Inspection programs are being adhered to.

6. Support the Company Leadership in daily operation and identified responsibilities at the project level.

7. Act as main point of contact between the client and subcontractors / suppliers team members for day-to-day project development and implementation.

8. Prepare, analyze, review and track submittal, change orders, request for information, substitution requests, project procurement.

9. Manage project documentation in an organized manner. Maintain updated project file in SharePoint /One Drive company site.

10. Prepare closeout package as outlined in the construction contract.

11. Attend to meetings and represent the company in a professional manner.

12. Assist the estimating team in new proposals, estimates, quantity takeoffs, proposal, and qualification documentation preparation.

13. Performing other related tasks as required.

  • Background: Architecture on Engineering bachelors degree graduate with 2 years min. in construction related field.

  • Technical: able to Interpret and implement construction drawing and specifications. Must be able to understand construction contract terms and conditions and adhere to the contract requirements.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation Safety Codes (OSHA), EPA, and applicable Building Codes.

o Proficient in MS Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

o Proficient in MS Project

o Proficient in Online Meeting apps such as Teams, Zoom, Go to Meeting, etc.

o Proficient in document control apps as per clients needs, such as (Building Connected, Arriba, Fieldwire, Procore, Plan Grid, among others)

o Preferred Knowledge (not required but preferred): Autocad, Revit
