Our client, Solx is a leading solar panel manufacturing company based in Puerto Rico. Their mission is to onshore domestic manufacturing while contributing to Puerto Ricos economic and environmental growth.
Location: Aguadilla, Puerto Rico / On-site

Job Summary:
Solx is seeking a seasoned and visionary Director of Human Resources to lead and manage all aspects of our HR operations at our Aguadilla facility. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of shaping organizational culture, driving HR initiatives, and aligning HR strategies with
business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute HR strategies that align with Solxs vision and business objectives.
- Provide leadership and oversight for recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce planning.
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that emphasizes employee engagement and retention.
- Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage compensation, benefits, and performance evaluation programs.
- Lead initiatives for employee development, training, and succession planning to build a high-performing team.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on organizational design, change management, and HR policy development.
- Develop and track HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
- Oversee conflict resolution, employee relations, and disciplinary processes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR policies, programs, and systems to meet the evolving needs of the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of Puerto Rico labor laws and employment regulations.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with HR systems, analytics, and tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS, payroll systems).
- HR certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SHRM-CP) are highly desirable
