Job Summary

The HR Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the HR functions at Dot Works, including payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. This
position requires experience in HR management within a manufacturing environment and the ability to lead HR initiatives that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment for all employees, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, retirement plans, and other employee-related benefits.
    Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and general HR policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, including those specific to Puerto Rico.
  • Support employee relations, including resolving conflicts, addressing employee
    concerns, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Lead the recruitment process, from job postings to interviewing and onboarding new employees.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide data analysis to support decision-making and improve HR processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership and managers to ensure HR practices are aligned with business needs.
  • Lead and manage HR team members, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing company.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, benefits administration, and labor laws, particularly in Puerto Rico and the U.S.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, HRIS software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
