Full Job Description: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing critical financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

This position requires excellent analytical skills, a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency with accounting software and financial management tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

- Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.

- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.

- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards (GAAP) and relevant laws.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

- Oversee and review accounts payable and receivable processes.

- Coordinate and support external audits, ensuring timely provision of necessary documentation.

- Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and financial transactions.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger functions.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• Experience in hospitality industry is a plus, not required.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and corporate finance practices.
• Proven ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team.
