About the Position

Elastyc is representing a dynamic biotechnology company focused on developing vaccines to address bacterial diseases. These diseases can have significant health impacts when untreated, and the company is dedicated to creating solutions to help protect people worldwide.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the executive team to manage all aspects of the office while providing support to the field team. They should have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication abilities, a proven track record of problem-solving and creative thinking, and the capacity to complete projects independently and on time. Professionalism, discretion, and prior experience supporting executives are essential for this role.

Key Skills/Responsibilities

  • Communication: Effectively communicate with colleagues, supervisors, clients, and executives, ensuring clear and professional interactions at all times.
  • Time Management: Prioritize tasks and manage both your schedule and that of the executives you support, ensuring deadlines and commitments are met.
  • Attention to Detail: Stay organized, accurate, and efficient, with a keen eye for detail in all tasks, ensuring high-quality work.
  • Multitasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as managing phone calls, updating databases, and responding to emails, all while maintaining focus and efficiency.
  • Problem Solving: Think quickly and find practical solutions when unexpected challenges arise.
  • Calendar Management: Manage complex calendars, which includes not only scheduling meetings but also anticipating and organizing tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Project Management: Contribute to projects as a respected member of the team, utilizing strong project management skills to help ensure successful outcomes.
  • Computer Skills: Be proficient in common software tools including Microsoft Office, and be able to quickly learn any other necessary technology or systems.

Experience:

  • Administrative: 1 year (Required)
  • Executive administrative support: 1 year (Preferred)

Language Skills: Fluency in English is required.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 05:00 PM (EST). Weekends when needed.
