Job Overview: Our client is currently seeking an Operations Specialist to help their program run like a well oiled machine. You'll interface with clients and act as the direct manager for the Educational Support Specialists.The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, can quickly establish a rapport and communicate well, demonstrates an ability to be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment, and has a high degree of self-directedness and self-efficacy. Responsibilities include:

  • Exhibit professional, caring, and welcoming communication that models patience, compassion, and respect for diverse cultures and experiences
  • Develop program goals, policies and processes to achieve the program's objectives and optimize client outcomes
  • Facilitate client intake process
  • Organize and monitor client assessment and evaluation processes
  • Provide regular program updates, presentations, and reports to staff and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with staff to identify barriers to achievement of client objectives; create action plans to overcome them
  • Identify trends and assess opportunities to improve program operations processes and own execution
  • Anticipate and track operational risks and issues and provide strategic solutions
  • Lead the employee hiring, onboarding and training processes
  • Communicate, collaborate, and consult with the Bookkeeping Specialist to achieve business financial objectives
  • Keep up to date with the current industry and market regulations, technology, trends and forecasts
  • Advance the organization's mission and values

*The specialist will work both remotely, and in-person. The position will occasionally require travel from one job site to another during the work day. The specialist must be able to perform the outlined job duties and responsibilities that support the performance standards of the position with or without accommodations.

Required Qualifications/Skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in a human services-related field, program operations or project management
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Minimum of 1 year experience managing a team
  • Experience managing budgets and expenses
  • Statistical analysis experience
  • Grant and/or proposal writing experience
  • Excellent organizational, verbal communication, and writing skills
  • Aptitude to learn new software and systems
  • Ability to work seated in front of a computer for long periods of time
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to successfully pass background check

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Biomedical Engineering or Bioengineering
  • Project Management Professional certification
  • Familiarity and experience with online meeting software, online chat/instant messaging, and group sharing platforms (Zoom or WebEx, Slack, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
  • Statistical analysis experience
  • Spanish fluency
  • CPR certification
  • First Aid certification

Compensation: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
