As an Automation Maintenance Technician, you will be the primary technical lead for the troubleshooting, repair, and precision setup of our computer-controlled assembly systems and robotics. You will play a critical role in maintaining our facility's technological edge by diagnosing complex issues within motion sensors, control components, and photosensors. This role requires a high-level blend of expertise in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and PLC systems to ensure seamless production cycles.

Responsibilities Include:
- Diagnostic Repair: Identify and resolve malfunctions in pneumatic and mechanical components using advanced diagnostic tools and precision repair techniques.
- Systems Maintenance: Perform comprehensive troubleshooting on electro-mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Operational Logging: Maintain meticulous records of equipment usage, parts replacement, and PM schedules to optimize machine lifecycle.
- Strategic Reporting: Provide real-time updates to leadership regarding automation performance, system capabilities, and repair status.
- Production Agility: Execute efficient equipment changeovers and routine preventative maintenance to ensure peak operational readiness.
- Team Support: Provide essential on-call weekend support as part of the technical rotation.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1–4 years in a manufacturing environment specializing in automated assembly, robotics, or mechanical systems support.
- Technical Tooling: Proficient in using meters, hand tools, welding equipment, and machine shop machinery.
- Schematic Literacy: Ability to interpret complex electronic and pneumatic schematics fluently.
- Core Aptitude: Strong mechanical reasoning and a proactive approach to technical problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical school degree or professional certification.
- Prior experience in welding, fabrication, or industrial control wiring.
- Background in Field Service or deep-dive electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
