About the job Network Administrator
The Network Administrator provides foundational support in maintaining and troubleshooting the organization's network infrastructure and computer systems. In this Network Administrator role is responsible for assisting with the configuration, monitoring, and basic administration of LAN/WAN, user accounts, and desktop systems. Serving as the first line of technical support, you will resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues while executing routine backup and security tasks under the guidance of senior staff.

Responsibilities Include
- Systems Management: Manage Active Directory users/groups and the company's Office365 environment.
- Network Monitoring: Use tools like PRTG to monitor resources and escalate critical issues.
- Data Protection: Maintain and document companywide backup processes using Veeam Backup and Replication Suite.
- Technical Support: Resolve end-user problems regarding LAN/WAN, PCs, and networking equipment (switches/routers) via help desk tickets.
- Security & Patching: Respond to security incident tickets from the MSSP and apply routine OS, firmware, and application updates.
- Endpoint Security: Monitor antivirus, EDR, and Windows Defender while supporting VPN and remote desktop solutions.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of all hardware, software, and network device inventory.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years in a network administration role.
- Education: High School Diploma required; BS in Computer Science, MIS, or IS preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft OS (Win10+, Server 2016+), Active Directory, Group Policy, Teams, and SharePoint administration.
- Certifications: Microsoft, Cisco, and/or CompTIA certifications are highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong customer service attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical info effectively.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Pay: Compensation is determined by candidate experience, education, certifications, and specific job-related skills. $35 - $37/hr
