Responsibilities Include
- Set up, troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding processes and parameters to
- maximize yield and minimize cycle times.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and tooling teams to solve technical challenges and
- improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations,
- quality non-conformances, and scrap reduction.
- Assist in tool sampling, new product introductions (NPI), and scientific molding trials.
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and setup
- sheets.
- Participate in continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma) initiatives across the
- manufacturing floor.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing
- Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: Hands-on experience with plastic injection molding machinery, tooling, and
- process troubleshooting.
- Technical Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and a solid
- foundation in mechanical principles.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new manufacturing technologies and specialized
- processing techniques.
- Communication: Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
- with cross-functional teams.
