We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly/Machine Operator to join our team. This role requires versatility, as it involves assembling products, maintaining cleanliness in the workplace, performing data entry tasks, and assisting with light maintenance work. The ideal candidate is a proactive worker with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assemble, inspect, and package products according to company standards.
  • Operate basic hand tools, machines, or equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow production guidelines and quality control procedures.
  • Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or issues with products.
  • Assist in inventory control by tracking and reporting material usage.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces, workstations, and communal areas.
  • If you have experience in drywall, sanding, auto body repair/polishing, building maintenance (including welding), or using tools such as angle grinders and table saws, we would like you to join and help keep the department running smoothly.
  • Assist with operation and maintenance of grinding and polishing machines.
  • Assist with keeping the polishing department clean and organized.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks as needed to support operations.
  • Accurately input and update data in company databases or spreadsheets.
  • Verify and review data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain records and organize electronic and physical documents as needed.
  • Assist with generating reports, tracking inventory, and managing workflow documentation.
  • Respond to basic inquiries and assist with administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Follow company policies for data confidentiality and security.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 35 lbs daily.
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, kneel on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to kneel, stoop, crouch, or work in other uncomfortable positions to accomplish tasks.
  • Previous machine operation and machine maintenance experience is a plus.
  • Light to moderate mechanical experience using hand tools and some power equipment.
  • Good hand/eye coordination and ability to work with hand tools.
  • Organized, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand instructions in English.
  • Steady hand with good eyesight for precision work.
